Myrtle E. White, 93, of Florence, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. Mrs. White was a member of Helton Drive Church of Christ.Visitation was Wednesday evening at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Jeff McCrary.Her husbands, Garrett Christian and Osborn White, preceded her in death.She is survived by her daughters, Mamie Campbell of Florence and Ruth Cooper of Akron, Ohio; brother, Doyle Creasy of Florence; sisters, Kathryn Arnold, Sheffield, and Ollie Crittenden, Florence; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Wendell Irons, Justin Michael, Jeff Hixon, Blake Michael, Bill Creasy and Charles Creasy.Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Campbell and Charles Campbell Jr.Greenview Funeral Home of Florence is directing.
