BELVEDERE, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Myrtle Parkman Carter, 92, of Belvedere, who died on November 30, 2013, surrounded by her loving husband and children, will be conducted this Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Belvedere First Baptist Church. Her grandson, the Reverend Dr. Stephen H. Cook of Memphis, Tennessee and Rev. John Myer will officiate. A private family interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Piano vs. Poverty, a charity to aid impoverished children and adults worldwide that was founded by another grandson, Carter Cook at 1959 N.
