AUGUSTA, Ga. - Myra H. Williams, 97, entered into rest Monday, January 26, 2015, at Westwood Extended Care. Graveside memorial services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park, with Reverend Ronnie Youngblood officiating. Family and friends are requested to assemble at the graveside. Mrs. Williams, a native of Emanuel County, GA, was one of ten children of the late Tom T. and Zada Leaptrot Hall. She worked as a sales person for Crosby's Women's Apparel and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Elwood Johnston; and by her second husband, Madison Williams; and by her daughter, Burma J. West. She is survived by her son, Wendell Johnston, Sr. and his wife, Susan, of Augusta; her special niece, Rilla Mae Jackson and her husband, Franklin, of Bath, SC; Shirley Johnston Luke, of Atlanta, who was like a daughter to her; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
