SYLACAUGA - Wilda Bates Rogers, age 70 of Sylacauga, passed away on Sept. 30, 2009. Mrs. Rogers was a devoted, loving wife, mother and Nana. She was a 1957 graduate of Minor High School, a faithful member of Fairmont Baptist Church, Sylacauga. Funeral Services will be held at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. with burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10-11 a.m. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Kathy Lyon and Cindy Rogers. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Loel Rogers; a daughter, Rachel (Gene) Gordon; grandchildren, Brad (Carol) Lyon, Raven Rogers, Brooke Gordon, Nathan and Nolan Gordon; sister, Judy (Danny) Smothers; and nieces, Donna Zani and Onna Goff.
