Vivian Sirmon Lee, age 95, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, May 3, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Elmer Lee for 38 years. Mrs. Lee was born in Dozier, Alabama, and was also raised and educated there. She was a graduate of Troy State Teachers College. She later taught at Vidett, Alabama and Chumuckla, Florida schools for several years. After raising her family, Mrs. Lee went back to work as an Office Manager for a Medical Practice, located in Milton, Florida. She retired and later moved to Fort Walton Beach in 1992. Mrs. Lee enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Mrs. Lee is survived by her son-Robert and wife Marilyn Lee of Jacksonville, FL, son-Sirmon and wife Tina Lee, of Mobile, AL, daughter-Sally and husband Forrest Townsend of Fort Walton Beach, FL, sister-in-law-Betty Ann Sirmon of Madison, FL, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. A time of visitation was at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E., Fort Walton Beach, FL 864-3361, on Wednesday, May 6, from 11:30 – 1 p.m., with Funeral Services at 1 p.m. Burial followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery, in Milton, FL.
