Mrs. Victoria Beasley Huff, age 82, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday evening at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was under the professional care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a Bulloch County native and had retired from the Bulloch County Board of Education as a food service worker. She was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Ms. Nina Bell Jordan, Mrs. Mary Linda (Oliver) Nunnally and Ms. Wilmatine Moore of Statesboro, Ga.; seven sons, Mr. Levern Huff of Queens, N.Y., Mr. Claude (Betty) Huff of Manhattan, N.Y., Mr. Randolph (Lillian) Huff and Mr. Leamon (Juanita) Huff, both of Statesboro,Ga., Mr. Alfonso (Georgia) Huff of Bronx, N.Y., Mr. Edward (Nara) Huff of Register, Ga., and Mr. James (Mittie) Huff of Nevils, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Eudell Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church, Elm Street. Burial will be held in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state from 10 a.m. until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel, in charge of arrangements.
