Ruby Florence Mills Horton, 89, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012. A funeral service was held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation was held 10 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.Daughter of the late Archie and Mary Rushing Mills. Ms. Horton was also predeceased by her husband Billy Gantt Horton, seven brothers and two sisters. She loved and enjoyed her family.Surviving are daughter Caroline Horton of Pageland; sister Edith Mills Hathcock (Robert A.) of Florence; several nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Betty Jo Roberts of Newberry, Hazel Mills of Danville, VA.Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund, 6510 Mt. Moriah Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103 or Hospice of ones choice.Sutton-Baumgartner Funeral Home of Pageland handled the arrangements.
