STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Rosa Lee "Ms. Plum" Owens Davis, age 94, passed into rest Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Westwood Nursing Center, under the care of Odyssey Hospice. The Bulloch County native was the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie Adams Owens Sr. She joined the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired food service worker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Clouise Davis.Mrs. Davis leaves fond memories to be cherished by a sister, Arabelle Sheffield, Hollywood, Fla.; four brothers, Charlie (Naomi) Owens, Statesboro, Ga., Tyree Owens and Bobby Owens, both of Hollywood, Fla., and Harvey (Dolly) Owens, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a grandson, Brandon Lewis, Doha, Qatar; a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.The funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc., with the Rev. Frankie L. Owens Sr. officiating.
