FAYETTEVILLE - Funeral service for Patricia Maness Hughes, 59, will be Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Jim Maxwell, the Rev. David Shafer and the Rev. Joe Kelley officiating. Interment will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Hughes died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Hughes was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Fudge Maness; and her brother, Ricky Maness. Survivors are her husband of 41 years, Freddie Hughes; sons, Walter Scot Hughes and Brian A. Hughes and wife Leslie, all of Fayetteville; daughter, Sharon Hughes of Chelsea; mother, Lillian Maness of Fayetteville; brother, Jimmy Maness of Bessemer; sisters, Janelle McNeal of Prattville and Lillian Talton of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Haydn Hughes, Graysn Hughes and Lillyn Hughes.
