Mrs. Mina Mae Jones, age 81, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was a Bulloch County native and a homemaker. She was a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Pembroke, where she served as a deaconess and president of the Senior Choir. She was a member of the gospel group Genesis. She leaves to cherish fond memories to six daughters, Mary Washington, Louise (Ernest) Campbell, Rose Lena Hagin, Hilda Stewart and Geraldine Jones, all of Statesboro, and Ellen Taylor of Atlanta; four sons, J P (Joan) Jones, Winton Jones, Levon (Mae) Jones and Ronnie (Diane) Jones, all of Statesboro; one brother, E J Rawls of Covington, Tenn.; a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 24, at 2 p.m. at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Pembroke. The Rev. Craig R. Tremble, eulogist. Interment will be in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Arcola, Ga. Family visitation will be held on Saturday from 7-8 p.m. in the Robena Raymond Memorial Chapel at Craig R.
