Martha (Sue) Bailey, 87, of Winder, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011. A native of Winder, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Flora Rutledge Wall. She was a member of Winder First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. An avid gardner, she loved water sports and dancing. She was preceded in death by a son, Phil Bailey, a grandchild, Jonny Skinner, a great-grandson, Will Davidson and a brother, Charles Wall. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Hulan Bailey; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Mary Bailey of Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Sulan and Ricky Maxey of Winder; grandchildren, Richie Davidson, Joshua Bailey, Michael Bailey, Landon Bailey, Justin Maxey, Creston Maxey; great-grandchildren, Ariauna Bailey, Maggie Bailey, Grace Davidson, Tyler Skinner, James Skinner and Zoie Skinner; brothers, Ross Wall of Lawrenceville and Larry Wall of Winder; and sisters, Jerrie Jones of Goose Creek, S.C. and Joyce Wall of Winder. Services were Friday, June 10 at 2 p.m. at Winder First Baptist Church with Dr. John Talley and Pastor Joshua Bailey officiating. Interment was in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 625 Jefferson Hwy., Winder, Ga. 30680. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
