ANNISTON — Graveside services for Mrs. Lena Nix Davis, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Jennifer Cemetery with the Rev. Ross Reed officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The procession will leave the family home at 9:15 a.m. Mrs. Davis died on June 23, 2009 at Jacksonville Health & Rehab. Survivors include her son, Jeffie Leon (Eleanor) Davis, of Anniston; three grandchildren, Tania (Calvin) Freeman, Robin (Sylvia) Davis and Brian (Devin) Davis; one great- granddaughter, Taja Freeman, all of Anniston; two sisters, Betty Nix, Dorothy (JD) Suttles; sister-in-law, Willie Nix, all of Talladega. Mrs. Davis was a Talladega native and faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her twin Leila Allen; sister, Lucille Bias; two brothers, J.C. Nix and James Nix.
