Dorothy Lucille Johnson, 72, of Inverness, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, under the care of Hospice. Dorothy was born on June 30, 1937, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She was formerly from Elkhart, Indiana and relocated to Inverness in 1981. Her many hobbies included golf, billiards, playing cards and especially her pride and joy, her dog Ceasar. She was a member of the Church of God in Inverness and a member of Inverness Moose Lodge and both the Elks Lodge and Hernando VFW Auxillary. Dorothy also was a member of Brentwood Tuesday and Thursday Ladies' Golf League.She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph Maynard Johnson and Joseph Reindl.Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Lloyd (Bill) of South Pittsburg, TN; Kimberly McKenzie of Inverness; stepchildren Janet (Gill) Waechter, Sherry (Ralph) Hautman; Diane Foster and Steve (Kathy) Reindl of Ohio. Also surviving are three sisters: Nellie Gobbell, Ruth Rosson and Corrine Beckman; two brothers: Joe and Earl Robinson; three grandchildren: Candice and Brandon McKenzie and Stephanie Fulton; and great-grandchildren Matt, Wayne and Hailey.Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. in Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Powers officiating. Interment will take place in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.The family and friends would like to invite all to a Celebration of Life ceremony and luncheon at the Inverness Moose Lodge at 3 p.m., following services in Bushnell. Bring covered dish, pictures and stories. Following is a get-together after 6 p.m. at the family home at 9638 E. Monica Court, Inverness.
