ANNISTON — Funeral service for Mrs. Diane H. Robinson, 62, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with The Reverend Bryan Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the church. A Prayer Service will follow at 8 p.m. Interment will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. Mrs. Robinson passed away January 24, 2010. Mrs. Robinson was born in New Orleans, La. and grew up in Waveland, Miss. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy, attended The University of Mississippi, and later earned a degree in Computer Science from Ayers State Technical College. She had lived in Anniston since 1984 and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she had been active in several organizations. She had also volunteered at the All Saints Center for Concern. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Robert Lewis Robinson, of Anniston; a son, Brian Hunter Robinson and his wife, Tracy, of Anniston; and a grandson, Alexander Jack Robinson. Pallbearers will be Ron Jones, Tom Sowa, Jimmy Odell, Brian Robinson, Mal Peeples, and Shane Ogle. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to All Saints Center for Concern, 1029 W. 15th Street, Anniston, Ala. 36201.
