Mrs. Betty Ann Boyles Miller, age 75, homemaker and loving mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday morning, May 30, 2007, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a short illness. The native of Chatham County was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County. She loved her God and was a faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Miller; and a brother, John Boyles. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Debi and Bill Denny Sr. of Des Moines, Iowa, Pam Harris and Robert Boyd of Claxton, Karen and Ricky McClain Sr. of Statesboro and Christina Miller of Columbia, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Brad Murray, Bill Denny Jr., Eric Prosser, Lori McNamar, Lisa Prosser, Paige McClain and Ricky McClain Jr.; six great-grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Wilson and Joan Boyles of Garden City; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Edna Miller; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Peavy, Tommie Taylor and Billie Jean Layne; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Friday at noon at the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Eller officiating. Burial will be held in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Denny Sr., Bill Denny Jr., Brad Murray, Eric Prosser, Ricky McClain Sr., Ricky McClain Jr. and Robert Boyd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church, 1992 Macedonia Road, Statesboro, GA 30458.
