Barbara Tanner Graham, 77, of Winder, died Saturday, Nov., 29, 2008.Born in Barnesville, she was a daughter of the late James Claude and Bell Hightower Tanner. An active member of Winder First Christian Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher, she had been the owner and operator of The Boutique clothing store. She had been active with the Northeast Georgia Council of the Girl Scouts and the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce.Survivors are husband, Ernest Graham Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Ernie and Peggy Graham of Winder; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and David Hammond of Winder and Gayle and Mark Acuff of Raleigh, N.C.; and grandchildren, Stephen and Kristin Graham, Betsy Robinson and Ann Marie Graham.Services were Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Winder First Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Winder First Christian Church's youth fund, 275 N. Fifth Ave., Winder, GA 30680 or to Embracing Hospice, 2160 Fountain Drive, Snellville, GA 30087.Smith Funeral Home had charge of the service.
