The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Anna D. Meier, 91, of Beverly Hills, FL who died on Saturday, January 9, 2010 will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 a. m. at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory with the Rev. Stuart Jamison officiating. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in Mrs. Meier's memory to the Hospice of Citrus County, P. O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Online condolences may be sent to the family at HooperFuneralHome.com. Mrs. Meier was born on May 16, 1918 in Brooklyn N. Y. and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Nagle. She was a member of the Beverly Hills Community Church where she was active in the Women's League of the Church. She was a longtime member of Tops in Beverly Hills and served as an officer and as its President. She loved to cook and was an excellent seamstress; she also was accomplished at both knitting and crocheting. Above all she was dedicated to her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by 2 daughters, Maxine A. Golub of Silver Spring, MD and Donna H. Price of Plano, TX along with 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
