ANNISTON — Funeral services for Mr. William Orvel Lee, 78, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dean Clopton officiating. Interment will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Lee was a loving husband and father with an open heart and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have him touch their lives. Whether you knew him as W.O., Brother, Pop, Paw-Paw or Daddy, our lives have been enriched with his love and compassion. Mr. Lee passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Lee is survived by his daughters, Anita Lee Snyder, of Anniston, Shelia Lee Heathcock and husband, Gene, of Lincoln; sons, William "Chuck" Lee and wife, Lorri, of Decatur, Eric O. Lee, of Anniston; sisters, Ruth "Cuty" Howell, of Anniston, JoAnn Reynolds, of Birmingham; grandchildren, Chris Parker, Shane Parker and Brooke Moore; great-grandchildren, Ethan Parker, Dusty Parker, Summer Parker, Cierra Parker, Raylee Hattok, Conlynn Hattok and Kaylie Hall. Pallbearers will be Al Lee, Mish Evans, Scooter Lee, Mark Sanders, Jerry Higgingbotham, Dean Sanders and Mike Beck. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Parker and Shane Parker. Mr. Lee was a native and life long resident of Anniston. He was a professional craftsman by trade both commercial and residential. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pole Line Communication Installer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and VFW and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty S. Lee; parents, Robert and Ruby Lee; brothers, Alfred Lee, Charles "Cubby" Lee and granddaughter, Crystal Marie Moore.
