Thomas Harold Moore, 81, of Milton, Fla., passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011.He was born in New Albany, Mississippi to the late Elkin and Birdie Moore.Mr. Moore retired from the United States Navy and was a member of Floridatown Baptist Church. Besides his parents, a sister, Martha Pauline Butts, preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Moore of Anaheim, California, and Dennis (Teresa) Moore of Milton; two daughters, Gail Sherrill and Robyn Baker, both of Milton; two brothers, Cliff Moore and Lanny Moore, both of Birmingham, Alabama; a sister, Anna Belle Free of Montgomery, Ala.; 6 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and other extended family.Funeral services were 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the graveside at Memory Park Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. at Floridatown Baptist Church.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice.Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
