ANNISTON — Services for Mr. Eugene "Pimp" Carter, 57, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Anniston Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Ross Reed officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery with Anniston Funeral services in charge. The body will be at the chapel until time of services. Mr. Carter died on July 10, 2009 in Bibb County. Survivors include his son, Shawndreko Eugene Carter; seven sisters, Sylvia (Frank), Macy, Barbara, Norma (Earl), Debra, Rose (Charlie) and Yvonne (Jerry), all of Anniston; four brothers, Dennis and Harry (Linda), of Anniston, William (Evette), of Chicago, Ill. and Roy (Jennell), of Phoenix, Ariz.; a caring nephew, Frederick Echoles; special niece, Hazel Nicholson and special friend, Lillian Martin. Mr. Carter was a life long resident and attended Anniston City School System and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Catherine; three brothers, Thomas, Charles and Willie Jr. "You have our deepest sympathy."
