BRYANT Mother Emma Jo Bryant passed away May 18, 2002. She was a long time resident of Lake Wales, Florida and a member of the “ First Born Church of God In Christ” working faithfully on the Mothers Board, Elder Horisten Berrien pastor. She later moved to Jacksonville with her son, Reverend Tom E. Diamond, Pastor of Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church, and became a member. Mother Bryant is survived by two sons, Rev. Bennett Diamond, and Rev. Dr. Tom E. Diamond (Lois); a sister, Ella M. Daniels; a brother, Jessie Brown (Pearl); Eleven grandchildren, among them, Kendrea Johnson, Casandra Brown, Leonard Brown, Andrea Pratt (Aaron), Roderick Diamond, Rev. Eugene Diamond (Charlene); five nieces; twelve great grands, one great great grand; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00AM in her church The Rev. Eugene Diamond (grandson), officiating. Visitation Friday from 6 to 8PM in the Chapel (Jacksonville), and Saturday 5-6pm at “ The First Born Church of God In Christ” , 405 Washington Avenue, Lake Wales, FL, Elder Horisten Berrien, Pastor.
