JONES-BROWN, MONTA RENEE, 48, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her father, Turner Harris Jones. She is survived by her husband, Charles Brown; children, John and Montrell Jones, Janero and Gordon Jackson II; mother, Mattie Jones; siblings, Michael and Derrick Jones (Deborah), Merlin Jones- Smalley, Cynthia Bell, Taffey and Ieida Jones, Minnette Harlan, Patricia Jennings, Deborah Wilson, Jennifer Powell; aunt, Helen Woods; uncle, Lawerence C. Jones, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; her beloved pet Yorki Charmon. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at First Congregational Methodist Church, 3811 Garland Ave with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 West Chestnut Street is in charge of arrangements.
