Monique (Clarisa) Anderson(Singing Buffalo Woman)July 25, 1991– March 3, 2016It is with great sadness that the family of Monique (Clarisa) Anderson, aka Mika, announce her sudden passing on Thursday, March 3, 2016. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Wilf Anderson, who she called Daddy; grandmother Marlene Longman. She is survived by 2 beautiful children: son Roan; daughter Scarlette, mom (grandma) Elaine; grandfather Raymond Pelletier; momma Lorna (stepdad Doug); father Darryl (Tanya); brothers Marc, Darcy, Darryl Jr., Ethan, Layton, Jayron, Landon and Brenan; sisters Darylea (Luke), Latysha, Shaylom and Amiah; special uncle Arthur Anderson; and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. Wake will be held in the new gym of the George Gordon First Nation, Sask., Friday, March 11, 2016, at 4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m. in the same location.
