Mona Lisa Church-Brown May 17, 1972 - September 1, 2011 Norwich - Mona Lisa Church-Brown, 39, of Oakwood Knoll, Norwich, died Thursday at Backus Hospital. Born in Hartford on May 17, 1972, she is the daughter of Diana (Findley) Regets of Voluntown, and Dexter D. Church of Gales Ferry. Prior to her illness, she was employed as a certified nurses aide. Surviving is her mother and step father Diana (Findley) and Joseph Regets of Voluntown; her father and step mother Dexter and Linda Church of Gales Ferry; one daughter Katarina M. Church of Voluntown; three sons, Andrew S. Regets, Stanley E.D. Brown and Davon Brown all of Norwich; her fiancee Earl J. Brown, Jr. of Norwich; three brothers, Alan D. Church, III of Bozrah, Dexter D. Church, Jr. of N. Grosvenordale, Ty W. Church of Voluntown; one sister Alanna Church of Gales Ferry; her step brother Douglas S. Regets of Norwich; and also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, where the funeral will assemble on Thursday at 8 A.M. and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Peter & Paul Church at 9 A.M. Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
