STONE Mitzie Bessie Pauline Stone, AAI, AIAM, 38, passed away at home with her family gathered with her on November 19, 2005. She was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and was a long time resident of Jacksonville. She graduated from FCCJ and the University of Phoenix. Mitzie was in the insurance business, and worked for many companies including Insurance and Risk Management in Naples, FL, Universal Insurance Agency, Applied Systems in Chicago, IL, and Anchor Insurance, Inc. She attended Celebration Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Alton Stone; brother, Alton Rocky Stone; and grandmothers, Bessie Stone and Pauline Black. Survivors include her mother, Ethel Stone; sisters, Teresa Tripp (Carlton), Susan Davison (Wayne), and Robin Hogsed (Andy); God daughter, Sierra Davison; grandfather, Gerald Black; best friend, Ray Spangler; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 22nd, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday (today) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
