MORRIS, Minnie Elizabeth (nee Youens) - At Brampton Civic Hospital, on December 24, 2009 at the age of 93, with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Ted and daughter Linda McKeracher. Survived by her son Brent (Susan), and son-in-law Bob and sister-in-law Vera. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shannon, Rob, Jamie, Lauren and Ted, and her great-grandchildren Robbie, Abigail and Rian. Predeceased by her brother Jim Youens. A special thanks to Minnie's many caregivers. Minnie and Ted raised their family on two farms in the Malton area. This was a time she cherished. When the farm on Britannia Road was sold, Minnie moved to Brampton where she lived independently, as was her wish, up to the time of her passing. Family and friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home 'Brampton Chapel', 289 Main Street North, Brampton (905-451-1100) on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. Private interment at a later date.
