Mildred Wood, 83, died Feb. 12, 2005, at Westside Nursing Center.Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Hugh C. and Ruby Browning Wood. Ms. Wood was retired from Saco Lowell Corporation and was a member of David Street Baptist Church.She is survived by a brother, Hugh C. Wood, Jr.; and three sisters, Catherine W. Rice, Frances W. Young, and Nancy W. Pruitt, all of Greenville.Ms. Wood is predeceased by a sister, Elaine Jackson; and a brother, Harold (Bo) Wood.Visitation will be held Monday from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.Graveside services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Springwood Cemetery.The family is at their respective residences.
