WILLIAMS, MILDRED AUGUSTAMildred Augusta Williams, 98, Inverness, died Dec. 15, 2007 at her residence under the care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. A native of Gainesville, Florida, she was born Feb. 4, 1909 to the late Samuel J. and Maude (Beville) Taylor. She moved to this area many years ago. She was a member of the Floral City United Methodist Church, Abraham Venable Chapter of The National Society of Colonial Dames, 17th Century of Gainesville, Annuttaliga Chapter of the DAR, Order of Crown of Charlemaine, Inverness Womens Club, First Families of South Carolina, and National Society of Founders & Patriots of America. She was a beautiful southern lady who dearly loved her family and friends. Survivors include: 3 Daughters; Anne Kabrich and her husband, Donald, Floral City, Carolyn Holbrook and her husband, Alfred, Sandy Springs, GA, Nancy W. Carr, St. Petersburg, FL, 1 Sister; Mary Jo Davis, Gainesville, FL, 11 Grandchildren; Ann Cross, Rosemary Rooks, Sylvia Whitten, Alfred Holbrook, III, Lovick Williams Holbrook, Sr., Bryan Holbrook, Carol Holbrook Vasquez, Nancy Romig, Richard Carr, Jr., Kathleen Carr, Kevin Carr, 4 Great Grandchildren; Gerard Cross, Jr., Andrea Lee Moore, Justin Rooks, Katie Rooks Weaver and 13 other Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovick Williams on June 14, 2000 and 2 brothers, Austin Taylor and Samuel Taylor, Jr. Memorials are being accepted by the Floral City United Methodist Church or the Methodist Children's Home.
