TUSCALOOSA Mildred Washington Bailey, age 85, of Tuscaloosa, died Nov. 12, 2008, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1:30 p.m. today at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gil McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to services at the funeral home.Mildred Washington Bailey was born July 3, 1923. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.She is preceded in death by her father, George D. Washington, her mother, Annie P. Washington, her husband, Samuel Dill Bailey, and her son, Samuel Darryl Bailey.Survivors include her grandsons, Samuel Latham Bailey (Jamie) and Samuel Darryl Bailey, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Braelyn Scott Bailey; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to DCH Cancer Center, the RISE Foundation, or The Big Oak Ranch P.O.
