Mildred O. (Mickey) Smith, age 78, of 411 Byrnes St., widow of Claude Lee Smith, Sr., died at her home on Tuesday, April 25, 2006.She was born in Clayton, Georgia, a daughter of the late James and Della Coffee Nichols.She was retired from Clinton Mills, and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Clinton.Surviving are two sons, Claude Smith, Jr. and Jerry Smith, both of Clinton; two daughters, Jenny Burton of Clinton and Etta Attaway of Joanna; two sisters, Bonnie Davis of Atlanta, Ga. and Jerrie Murphy of Baltimore, Md.; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grayfuneralhome.com.Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is serving the family.
