Moore, Mildred ShirleyDec. 24, 1927 - Oct. 27, 2013Formerly of Closter, NJ, Shirley died in Sarasota, FL on October 27, 2013 with family at her bedside.Shirley was a passionate and innovative teacher who retired in 1980 from the Hillside School in Closter, NJ. Shortly thereafter, Shirley and her husband, Robert E. Moore, Jr., moved to Sarasota, FL where she resided for the past thirty years.An avid and accomplished golfer, Shirley was a brilliant woman and a wonderful loving mother. Although preceded in death by her husband Robert and their son, Randall Moore, Shirley is survived by the following family members, a daughter Barbara Britt and son-in-law, Clyde Britt; her grandchildren Suzanne Britt and her husband Mark Parrish, William Britt and his wife Jeanne, Sandy Britt Boden and two beautiful great-granddaughters, Brooke Britt and Katherine Parrish. Shirley is also survived by her brother, William Dorman of New Jersey.Plans for a memorial service are incomplete at this time.
