FLOWERS, Mildred (nee Smith). 1917 - 2005. Suddenly, but peacefully passed away April 12, 2005 at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital in Greenfield Park, from complications arising from kidney failure, after an extremely courageous eight year battle on dialysis. Devoted wife of the late Albert Flowers. Predeceased by brothers Ross and Bernard. Mildred leaves behind sisters Opal (Sarnia, Ontario) and Avis (Greenfield Park) and her "son" Ron. Special thanks to Darlene and the girls at Foyer Groove. Also, all the staff in the Nephrology Department of The Charles Lemoyne Hospital for their years of care and patience. No visitation. Service to be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 20 at the Pentecostal Church, 30 Churchill Blvd., Greenfield Park. Interment will take place later this summer in New Carlisle, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 4/13/2005
