DIXON, Mildred (nee Smith), Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Welland Hospital on Friday, October 22, 2004 in her 74th year. Sadly missed by husband Raymond of 55 years. Loving mother of Jim (Patti), Marjorie, Tim (Carolyn), Ken (Brenda), Gary (Debbie), Colleen Theriault and Terry (Cathy). Also loved by her 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Survived by her brother Arnold (Betty) and sisters June and Marguerite and several nieces, nephews and their families. Predec eased by her parents Albert and Leone Smith and brothers Art, Robert and Llyod and her great-granddaughter Alisha. Mildred was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613 Fonthill. Friends will be received by the family f rom 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2004 at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME- DIXON CHAPEL, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday, October 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Carl Stratton of Faith Tabernacle Church officiating. Interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Thorold. The Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 613 Fonthill, will conduct a service at the funeral home Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. As an expression of sympa thy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to The Special Olympics. 10/25/2004- ID5072735 - St. Catharines Standard
