Keever Solace Center, Asheville, NC. Mrs. Davis was born in Madison County October 1, 1937. Mrs. Davis was employed by St. Joseph/Mission Hospitals some 33 years, working both in Admission and Outpatient processing. She was also active in Buncombe County Board of Elections. She was the daughter of the late R. S. and Eunice Metcalf Rice and also preceded in death by a sister Malinda Rice Carter, brothers Roy and Alfred (BE) Rice and beloved husband Parker Davis. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Officiating will be Reverends Patricia Lewis, Cline Hensley, Jr. and Winston Lloyd. Interment will follow in the Justice Cemetery. In lieu of flowers it is requested donations be made to the John F.
