Mildred Mazie McCollum, 82, widow of Victor Clinton McCollum, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Westside Nursing Center.Born in Watertown, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Edwin Byrol and Helen Caulderwood Byrol. She was a retired school teacher and attended Red Hill Baptist Church.Surviving are son, Craig McCollum and wife Pat; grandchildren, Eric McCollum and wife Kimberly, John McCollum and wife Cindi; and five great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Red Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Dyar officiating.The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Red Hill Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 558 Red Hill Road, Pickens, SC 29671.The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Pat McCollum, 164 Dalton Hill Road, Pickens, S.C.Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the McCollum Family
