Mildred Mary (Jackson) Desautell Howard -- February 19, 1912 -- August 20, 2005 -- DANIELSON -- Mildred Mary (Jackson) Desautell Howard, 93, formerly of Westfield Village, died Saturday at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. She was born in Cranston, RI on February 19, 1912, daughter of the late William and Minnie (Barrie) Jackson. She grew up in Providence, RI, and worked as a bookkeeper in Greenville and Providence. She was married to Ernest W. Desautell, who died in 1959 and in 1962 married Alvin R. Howard, who died in 1974. She is survived by one daughter, Jane (Desautell, Brelsford) Furchess and her husband James of Dayville; one son, James Desautell of Bolton, CT; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
