Smith, Mildred L.Sept. 18, 1941 - March 11, 2012Mildred L. Smith, 70, of Sarasota died March 11, 2012.Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. today at Jennings Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Gary) Pugni of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.; son, Joseph (Elke) DelGaudio of Sarasota; daughter, Lori Ann Smith of Sarasota; sisters, Lois Inserra of Holbrook, N.Y., Patricia Nevies of Throggs Neck, N.Y., Alice Luna of N.J. and Elizabeth Reyes of Bronx, N.Y.; grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Danielle Pugni, Paige DelGaudio, Nicholas Smith, Anthony Pugni and Joseph DelGaudio II.Mildred was very fond of animals and a very caring person helping who ever crossed her path. She was a loving mother and a caring and nurturing grandmother (Nana). She will be loved but never forgotten by her children and grandchildren
