Mildred "Millie" Locke Jordan, 99, of Easley, passed away Wednesday , January 13, 2010, at Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Rock Hill, S.C., she was the last surviving child of the late Claude and Alma Swett Locke. She was retired from Brandon Mill and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, where she was a former Bible and Sunday School teacher and member of the choir. She is survived by her husband, Hoyt P. Jordan of the home; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jordan was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2010, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The service will be Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 The family is at their respective homes.
