Mildred J. Magee 1915-2007 Mildred Jean Magee, 91, passed away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, April 27th, 2007 with her family by her side. Born in Sunnybrae on May 8th, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Corey and Clara (Killam) Rogers. She was a long time resident of Salisbury Road, a Life Member of the Woman's Institute, a Life Member of the Pythian Sisters, a long time member of the Friendship Circle, and attended Allison United Baptist Church. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Joy Currie (Howard); and their children, Michael (Denise), and Robert, all of Greater Moncton, son William "Bill" (Debbie) & their children; Ashley and Krissy, all of Moncton; she is also survived by her daughter in law, Dian Young (Doug) of Saint John and her children, Brent (Sandra) and their daughter Elise, Bryant (Tracy) and their sons Caleb and Noah, and Bradley (Jennifer), all of Vancouver; a sister, Gwenna Duncan (Late George); and brother, Murray Rogers; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband William R.; a son, Robert E.; sisters, Helen, Ethel, Pearl, Hazel, Ruth; brothers, Emery, Stewart, Donald; as well as special sister-in-law, Reta Rogers. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visitation on Tuesday, May 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 3 in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service in the Garden View Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Diabetes Association, The K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, or a memorial of your choice.
