Mildred Irene Dale, 73, of Arcadia, died Jan. 26, 2004. She was born May 29, 1930, in Anderson County, Ky., and moved to this area in 1974 from Miami. She was a homemaker. She attended the Arcadia Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by seven daughters: Lynnora Skinner of Arcadia, Joan Beard of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Beverly Powell of Fort Myers, Helena Charron of Lincoln, Ill., Juliet Skinner of Arcadia, Patricia Holland of Orlando, and Alicia of Trenton; four sons, Donald Cox of Lawrenceburg, Ky., John of Orlando, Harold of Dalton, Ga., and Keena of Kissimmee; a brother, Harold Akins of Bardstown, Ky.; 24 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and two nieces. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel in Arcadia. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia.
