HARRIS, Mildred I., 89, of Spring Hill, died December 2, 2005, at Evergreen Woods. Born in Gill, W.Va., she came here 25 years ago from Riverdale, N.J. Along with her husband, she was owner and operator of Harris Sales and Services in Pompton Plains, N.J., member of Grace Presbyterian Church and Christian Women's Club both of Spring Hill, and was a founder of the Riverdale Bible Church in Riverdale, N.J. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, James and Phyllis Harris of Atlanta, Ga., and Thomas Harris of Spring Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ernestine "Teena" and Ebb Haycock of Delaware, Ohio, and Ginny and Woody Tripplett of Lay, Ohio; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 7:45 p.m. with Dr. Paul Clemmons officiating.
