Mildred E. Smith, 77, of 7173 N. Central Ave., East Syracuse, died Sunday, February 2, 2003. She was born in Minoa and attended Minoa schools. She was employed at one time with General Electric and was a member of the VFW Post 9596 Women's Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony F. Smith in 2002. Surviving are two daughters Arlene Murphy and Kathleen Keach, East Syracuse; two sisters Pearl Sturick, Minoa and Eleanor Sturick of Fremont; five grandchildren Michael Murphy, Christine Reynolds, Karen Murphy, Nicole Keach and Meghan Keach; one great-granddaughter Rachel Reynolds. Funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. at the Russell H. Schepp & Son Funeral Home, 109 East Ave., Minoa. Interment in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
