Born on August 22, 1923 in Marion, Indiana, Eileen was the daughter of Walter Franklin Barnes and June Mercer Barnes. She was married January 4, 1941 to Robert E. Davis in Marion, Indiana who predeceased her on October 27, 2000.Eileen is survived by two sons, Robert, (predeceased by his wife Carolyn) of Tallahassee, Florida and John and wife Julie also of Tallahassee, Florida; grandsons, John Patrick Davis, Christopher Davis and Brian Matthew Davis; and great grandchildren, Riley, Madison and Mallory.Eileen enjoyed oil painting, reading and crossword puzzles during her lifetime. She lived with dignity and grace, and family meant the most to her. Her most enjoyable moments were laughing with her grandchildren and family celebrations.The will be a Mass held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2:00pm Saint Louis Catholic Church, 3640 Fred George Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32303.
