PATERSON, Michele (nee Gauthier) - In loving memory of Michele Paterson (nee Gauthier), who passed away on October 14th at her residence, at the age of 61 years. Born and raised in Coniston Michele had lived in the Toronto area having worked at Dupont of Canada for 30 years retiring in 2006 at which time she returned to Coniston living in her childhood neighbourhood. An artistic person she enjoyed making stain glass and oil painting. She was a keen viewer of BBC programming. Michele will be remembered for her candid and at times colourful comments. You always knew where you stood with Mitch. She had travelled extensively the world during her life but was happiest returning to her hometown with loving family and friends. Beloved daughter of Albina Gauthier (nee Barbe) and Leo Gauthier, both predeceased. Loving sister of Colombe (husband Romeo Duhaime), Gert (husband Maurice Gaudette) and Nicole (husband Gerry Lacarte) all of Coniston. Annette Rivet of Sudbury, Jeannette (husband Steve Harapiak) of Oakville, Louise (husband John Savoy) of Arizona, Diane (husband Raymond Houle predeceased) of West Arm, Donald Gauthier (wife Nancy) of Castleton and the late Victor Gauthier of Wahnapitae. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday October 18th, 2008 at 3 p.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at St. John's Cemetery, Garson. (Friends may call 1 p.m. Saturday).
