Michael Wayne Malone, age 49, of Muscle Shoals, died Friday, March 28, 2008, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Morrison funeral home in Tuscumbia. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, March 31, in the funeral home chapel, with Marty Rabon officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.Mike was a native and life-long resident of Colbert County. He realized a boyhood dream when he became owner of Sheffield Billiards. He was also an avid golfer and was a regular participant and frequent winner of many local golf tournaments. He was friend and confidant to numerous regulars at the pool hall and a generous, loyal friend and golfing buddy to many. He will be greatly missed.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bert and Fannie Lucille Malone and brother, Sonny Malone.He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lynn White Malone, of Muscle Shoals; brother, Jimmy Malone (Bobbie); sister, Willowdean Villwock; mother-in-law (Mom), Edna White; sister-in-law (Sis), Janet White Daugherty (Donnie); brother-in-law, Rodney White (Paulette); nephews, Nathan Joel White and Corey Lee Daugherty; and niece, Rachael Daugherty Haygood.Pallbearers will be Marshall Brooks, Mark Goins, Andy Franks, Van Hester, Scott Holt and Adam Wilson.
