Todd, Michael I.Michael Irving Todd, age 51, a resident of Bridgeport and Stamford, Connecticut, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2012, surrounded by his family and friends. Michael is the loving and beloved son of Margaret George Todd and William I. Todd (Shakoor), and the devoted and cherished brother of Anthony M. Todd. Michael is also survived by his children, Michael Christopher Todd and Janelle Lauren Todd; his uncles, John and Peter (Marlene) George; his aunts, Sister Mary Lorraine George, O.S.P., and Catherine Ann George; two special nephews, Shyheim and Christopher, and his beloved cousins. Michael attended local Parochial Elementary Schools and Bridgeport Central High School. He worked as a Certified Security Officer for G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., headquartered in Elmsford, NY.Michael loved, honored and served his Lord. Secondly, he loved and was always faithful to his family and friends. Last, but not least, Michael loved and served his country in the United States Army. A true testament to Michael's earthy legacy are the many friends and family members who were present at his passing to pray for him and surround his bed with love, as he left us for his journey home to God. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, October 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY in St. Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Ave., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
