BOW -- Michael T. Lahey, 69, of Wheeler Road, died Sept. 11, 2010, at Concord Hospital.He was born in Adams Mass. to Thomas and Elizabeth (Schneider) Lahey. He was a graduate of Adams High School in 1959 and received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University.He was general manager for Vishay-Sprague Electric Co. for 40 years, retiring in 2000.His career gave him the opportunity to travel all around the world. He loved Disney World, was a member of Bow Rotary, chairman of finance committee in Adams, Mass., and was continually involved in his community.IN HIS LIFE: He is survived by his wife, Anita (Boibeaux) Lahey; one son, David Lahey and his wife, Michelle, of Boston; a daughter, Mary Lahey of Concord; two grandchildren, Charlotte Lahey and Madelyn Lahey, both of Boston; one sister; Sandra DeMartino of Lanesboro, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.SERVICES: Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 135 North State St., Concord.Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery in Bow.Donations may be made to St. Peter Church, 135 North State St., Concord or to Bow Rotary Club, PO Box 1935, Bow 03304.
