->WATERVILLE -- Michael Scott Harding went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Dec. 31, 2008. He is loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.Michael was born on April 13, 1989, in Denver. He moved to Maine with his family in February of 1995.He attended Vassalboro School, Temple Academy and Erskine Academy. He received his general educational-development certificate in May of 2007. Michael was employed by Wal-Mart.Michael loved spending time with his family and friends, participating in and watching sports (especially football, basketball and golf), and ballroom dancing.He is survived by his parents, Jon and Tammi Harding, and a brother, Ethan Harding of Waterville; three sisters and their husbands, Laura and Ben Parker of Oakland, Robyn and Tristan Starbird of Skowhegan, and Julie and Joe Gagnon of Waterville; as well as nieces Katie, Kristina and Madelyn; grandparents Howard and Beverly Reynolds of Fonda, N.Y.; his grandmother, Jean Larvenz of Moline, Ill.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.A memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 4, at Faith Evangelical Free Church, located at 250 Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Focus on the Family (www.focusonthe family.com or (800) A-FAMILY) on Michael's behalf.Arrangements under the care and direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation & Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skow-hegan.
