Michael S. "Big Mike" Davis of Colonia passed away on May 24, 2012. Visitation is on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, 149 Springfield Ave., Newark. Phi Beta Sigma Ritual is at 7 p.m. then Moab Lodge No. 7 ritualistic service to follow at 7:20 p.m. Funeral service is on Friday at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment is in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. Arrangements are by Cotton Funeral Service. Beloved husband of Roslyn Davis, he was the loving father of Shanayah Davis; dear brother of Lenore Davis; cherished brother-in-law of Frances Stith, Brenda Lynch and Ellen Jones; special cousin of Alice Douglas and Debbie Bradford. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
