MALONE, Michael Patrick, Age 63, of Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 9, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet Malone; sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Christine Malone, and Mark and Leah Malone; mother, Mary Malone; brother, Ted Malone and his wife, Tanya; aunt, Ann Trengo; his most favorite grandchildren, Ashley and Kayley; and many other nieces, nephews and family members. Michael was a graduate of Notre Dame, where he played football under coach Ara Parseghian from 1966 through 1969, and shared in the glory of the 1966 National Title team. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as past Grand Knight. Michael also enjoyed golf as a member of the Highlands Country Club. He worked for Allstate Insurance for 37 years. His sons are very appreciative for all their father's gracious giving to the quality life they enjoy. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will hold a memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Church in Elmira NY on Sunday, June 27th at 5pm.
